04/12/13 - Wow what a week! We have just finished a week of Campmeeting at the Smokey Mountain Campmeeting and what a week it has been. Capacity crowds and the "Big Preacher" has showed up and showed out every night. At least two people gloriusly saved and scores of people blessed. We were priviieged to sing on Wednesday night and oh how He blessed. Thank you to Roger Duncan, Mike Blanton, and Calvin Ray Evans for letting us share in this event.
We are heading to NC and SC for this next week. On a sad note our Pastor, Luke Kidwell is in the hospital and covets the prayers of all God's people.
Until next time we love you all and remember, "We're Not home Yet'!
03/26/13 - Wow, has it really been this long? The girls, Deb and Anna, have chastized me to the nth degree for not updating our news page. I stand guilty as charged. Well where do I begin, we have traveled a bunch of miles in the last while and sang in many new places and seen souls saved and people blessed. We have had safe travel and good health which is a blessing beyond anything we could ask for. The Lord allowed us to purchase a new coach last June and it has already been a great blessing. Deb retired from her day job the first of January 2012 and has truly enjoyed it more than she could have imagined!
We have had some chart success the past couple of years and have a song from sometime ago on the May 2013 charts in the Singing News. The song is "We're Not Home Yet" and is doing really well. Thank you to all of you and to DJ friends for helping us out. Please continue to call your local radio station and request this song. Speaking of the Singing News we were thrilled to be a part of the Singing News stage at Dollywood last year and Lord willing we will be back this year October 18th and 19th. We will sing four time each day at the Valley Theater in Dollywood. We would love to see you all there. It is a great time of fellowship, fun, and food!
We are currently working on a new project titled, "Bring It All To Him". We have the tracks laid and will be working on the vocals the first of May. We have songs from Leonard Fletcher, Roger "Hoy" Duncan, Dottie Rambo, Wayne Haun, and more, plus a redback book song. We hope to have it by June or July.
We will be singing in a bunch of Camp Meetings, Jubilees and events like Dollywood Harvest Festival, Singing In The Sun, Gatlinburg Gathering, and a new event for us The Shannon Family Memorial Day Sing.
Please continue to pray fro us as we go about His work, it is a work that must continue no matter the cost. He alone is worthy of our praise! Hope you all have a great Easter this Sunday and a wonderful year. We hope to see you somewhere this year. We love you all!!!!
11/16/11 - Good morning! Just a short update to let you know that Anna's grandson came into the world healthy and beautiful, praise God for His goodness. His name is Camdyn Lee and he has a headful of black hair. All are doing well. Congratulations, Macy, Josh, and big sister Lillian! I have posted pictures in the gallery.
09/06/11 - It has been a while since we have posted the news! We have our new project, "Pray" and we feel like it is the best we have ever done. Roger Talley has been such a "God send" to us. The song from Dianne Wilkinson, "The Blind Man Preached" is the first song to radio. It is on the Spin-N-Motion comp for July cut number two. Please call your local radio station and request it.
We have been very busy the last couple of months and have a busy schedule for the rest of the year. Please look at our calendar page and come be with us if at all possible. We have just returned from the Gatlinburg Gathering and we were chosen to participate for one song ont the main stage, wow! We were able to perform our new radio song, "The Blind Man Preached" and be a part of the Grand Fianle with the Hoppers, Tribute Quartet, Triumphant Quartet, Pfiefers, and The Primitive. What a blessing and a thrill! God is Good!
We were also with the folks at Zion Baptist church Gastonia, NC for their annual jubilee, what a meeting! Many souls received the help they needed and it was a shout it out meeting. Folks on their feet for every preacher and singer, unreal.
Please keep Anna's grand baby in your prayers, we had a scare for her but it appears she is going to be fine.
